50 year-old David Mailler grew up in the North West NSW in the Moree district and has spent most of his working life as a grain producer between Goondiwindi and Moree.
He now runs a small grazing enterprise near Uralla while studying a Bachelor of Sustainability at University of New England.
He is married with three teenage children and is active involved in his community including rodeo associations, Rural Fire Service, NSW Farmers and is on a course advisory panel at UNE.
He is a Fellow of the prestigious Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and a founding member of CountryMinded.
